Dancers Make Team Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates five talented dancers from Irvine’s Allstar Cheer and Dance Academy who have been picked to represent Scotland at the ICU World Dance championships held in Orlando, Florida in April 2020; acknowledges that the dancers battled it out at auditions where hundreds of hopefuls travelled across Scotland to secure a place in the team; notes that the disciplines will be Hip Hop and Jazz; understands the dancers will also travel to Italy next June to take part in the European Championships; commends the dancers for their outstanding talent, and wishes them the best of luck with the upcoming competitions.
