Milngavie Cyclist, John Archibald, Wins First World Medal
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Milngavie cyclist, John Archibald, on winning his first world medal as part of Team GB, taking bronze for the mixed time trial relay at the World Road Championships in Yorkshire; understands that this new discipline, which involves a trio of male cyclists followed by a trio of female cyclists in a team trial race, was contested for the first time at the championships, and recognises the dedication and hard work that John has shown to achieve this result.
