Morrisons Staff in Inverurie Raise Over £2,000 for CLIC Sargent
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates staff at Morrisons in Inverurie on raising £2,151 for CLIC Sargent, which it believes is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families; recognises that, working with the business Energie Fitness, the staff aimed to cycle 254 miles, the equivalent of the length of Scotland, over two days on stationary bikes in the store; notes however that they surpassed their aim, cycling a total of 294 miles; commends all who participated on their efforts, and wishes them and CLIC Sargent well.
