Fetterangus School Pupils Win Nationwide Competition to Encourage Glass Recycling

That the Parliament congratulates children at Fetterangus Primary School on winning top prize in a nationwide competition, as part of the Glass Guardians programme, to encourage people to recycle more glass; understands that the Glass Guardians programme was created by British Glass and the National Schools Partnership to educate children about the 100% recyclability and sustainable benefits of glass packaging; acknowledges that over 150,000 children throughout the UK participated in the programme in 2019; recognises that, for their competition entry, Fetterangus pupils created a recycling themed version of the song, Ten Green Bottles, and recorded a video of themselves performing the song; notes that the first prize awarded to the pupils was £500 worth of school vouchers; applauds the pupils of Fetterangus Primary School on their success, and wishes both them and the Glass Guardians programme well.
