Kilimanjaro Trekkers Raise £40,537 for Whiteleys Retreat
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the five volunteer fundraisers who successfully climbed to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, raising £40,537 to support the work of Whiteleys Retreat; understands that Whiteleys Retreat offers free, short, therapeutic breaks for children and their families who are affected by cancer and other life-changing illnesses; applauds the efforts of the volunteers, their families, friends and other supporters who have helped to raise this extraordinary sum of money; commends Whiteleys Retreat for the work that it does to support children dealing with serious illnesses and their families, and wishes it continued success.
