East Dunbartonshire Council Supports Show Racism the Red Card Awareness Event
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates East Dunbartonshire Council on its support for Show Racism the Red Card's anti-racism event on 4 October 2019; understands that the awareness-raising event will include bathing Milngavie Town Hall and Bearsden Hub in red light, and notes that council employees have been invited to wear something red on the day to signify their support for the campaign, whose message is that there is no place for racism or discrimination in society.
