NHS Grampian Opens New Child and Adolescent Mental Health Facility
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges the official opening of the Links Unit, which is NHS Grampian’s dedicated facility for child and adolescent mental health in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire; notes that the building brings together three teams that previously worked at different locations to provide streamlined care to children and young people in the region; recognises that the building will enable staff to work in a much more co-ordinated way; welcomes the feedback from young people and their families, which suggests that they are grateful for this new facility, and congratulates the primary and secondary school pupils in the region who have so far raised £10,000 to purchase toys and enhance waiting areas in an effort to support their peers.
