Ceremonial Opening of Inverurie Health and Care Hub
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the ceremonial opening of the Inverurie Health and Care Hub by the First Minister; recognises that the new facility hosts GP services, community and public health nursing, a community maternity unit, Urie Dental Practice as well as a range of diagnostic and treatment services including radiology, cardiology and audiology; notes that the £14.6 million hub has had a phased opening and has been serving over 24,000 people in Inverurie and the wider area for over a year; understands that the Inverurie Medical Practice is the largest medical practice in Aberdeenshire and the third largest in Scotland; acknowledges the importance of Scottish Government funding to the completion of the project; applauds the staff of the various services provided at the facility for the work they do and their dedication, and wishes them and the Inverurie Health and Care Hub well.
