South West Scotland Winners at the Helping It Happen Awards 2019
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates both the Ayrshire Food Hub and Dumfries House on winning their respective award categories at Scottish Land & Estates’ Helping It Happen Awards 2019; notes that the Ayrshire Food Hub won the Working with Communities award for its hard work providing a community resource to support health and wellbeing, learning and employment in the local area; further notes that Dumfries House won the Education award for its hard work training youngsters in real-life skills to help open future employment opportunities, and wishes both ventures well for the future.
