Larkhall Academy Recognised at Digital Schools Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Larkhall Academy on being officially recognised for its commitment to protecting pupils online; understands that 114 schools were officially recognised at the largest-ever Digital Schools Awards held at St Mungo’s High School in Falkirk on 17 September 2019 for their commitment to promoting digital skills in the classroom; notes that the Cyber Resilience and Internet Safety (CR-IS) Badge was launched in February 2019 to provide education professionals with the resources and support to help pupils in the digital world; commends Larkhall Academy for gaining this recognition for internet safety and cyber resilience, and considers that it is helping to lead the way in raising awareness about the importance protecting pupils online.
