Autism Hour Campaign
The motion
That the Parliament notes that the National Autistic Society Scotland’s Autism Hour campaign runs from 5 to 12 October 2019; understands that the campaign encourages cafes, shops and other businesses across Scotland to hold an Autism Hour, which gives autistic people the opportunity to access services and use facilities without anxiety or fear of sensory overload; notes that there are 58,000 autistic people in Scotland, and thanks the National Autistic Society Scotland for its important campaign and for the work it does in support of all autistic people and their families.
