Darren McGhee from Coatbridge, Britain’s Top Tradesperson
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Darren McGhee, who is the managing director of the Coatbridge-based firm, My RoofCare, on being named Britain’s Top Tradesperson 2019; notes that the annual competition, which is now in its 10th year, aims to celebrate the outstanding work and professionalism of the country’s tradespeople and to find an individual who is the embodiment and a champion of their trade and who acts as an ambassador to help futureproof their sector and encourage future generations; believes that Darren was recognised by the judges as meeting these criteria and is a most deserving winner of this accolade, and wishes Darren and My RoofCare all the very best.
