National Award for Baby Loss Retreat
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Baby Loss Retreat, which is a charity based in Coatbridge, on receiving a national award, the Most Valuable Contribution, at the recent Charlie’s Angel Centre Foundation annual ceremony in recognition of its work in supporting parents and families who have been affected by miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal death; notes that the community bereavement charity aims to relieve the emotional and psychological stress caused to parents, individuals and families who have experienced a bereavement by providing tranquil accommodation as they grieve and offering ongoing support; welcomes its goal of expanding its work UK-wide, and wishes all at Baby Loss Retreat the very best.
