Motion · S5M-19387 · 10 Oct 2019
Golden Jubilee Cardiology Specialists
The motion
That the Parliament commends Professor Keith Oldroyd, Dr Margaret McEntegart and Dr Mitchell Lindsay, who are cardiology specialists from the Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Clydebank, on the central role that they played at what it understands was the world's largest interventional cardiology conference, which took place recently in San Francisco; understands that the clinicians broadcast live cases to the conference, including a demonstration of how to use a device, which is not available in the United States, that deals with calcification of the arteries to help prevent inadequate blood flows that cause angina and heart attacks; congratulates Keith, Margaret and Mitchell, along with their team of physiologists and nurses, on this groundbreaking presentation, and thanks everyone at the Golden Jubilee on the excellent job that they do to look after people's health.
