Kilwinning Businesses Raise Funds for Crosshouse Children’s Fund
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Thorne Travel and The Corner House Restaurant, which are based in Kilwinning, on joining forces to raise £800 for the Crosshouse Children’s Fund; understands that funds were raised through a raffle, which recently took place at the Thorne Travel holiday show; notes that fundraising will be ongoing throughout the year; recognises that the funds will go towards helping Ayrshire children who are in hospital receive the best possible care by funding enhanced equipment resources and services; congratulates both Thorne Travel and The Corner House Restaurant for the generosity, and wishes them continued success with their fundraising efforts.
