Glenrothes Marie Curie Fundraising Group Hits £70,000
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Glenrothes Marie Curie Fundraising Group on its huge success in hitting £70,000 in fundraising donations; notes that the hugely impressive fundraising milestone comes just four and a half years after the Glenrothes fundraising chapter was set up; considers that Marie Curie is a vitally important organisation that provides crucial care and support for people living with a terminal illness both nationally and within the Mid Fife and Glenrothes constituency; further considers that raising funds in local communities for such a crucial organisation is a big step towards increasing national awareness, and acknowledges that the group is a fantastic asset to both Marie Curie and their local communities, and that their drive, enthusiasm and dedication is an inspiration to everyone.
