Keith and Pauline Marley Given Wildlife Rescue Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Keith and Pauline Marley of New Arc Animal Centre near Ellon who will be presented with the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) Wildlife Rescue Award; notes that the award will be presented to Keith and Pauline at the House of Lords; understands that Keith and Pauline have operated the North East Wildlife and Animal Rescue Centre (New Arc) for 13 years, during which time they have rescued an estimated 15,000 animals; recognise the work done by New Arc to provide a sanctuary for unwanted, abused and abandoned pets as well as rehabilitating and rearing orphaned and injured wildlife; commends Neil and Pauline for the work they do, and wishes New Arc well.
