St John’s & King’s Park Church, Dalkeith
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates St John’s & King’s Park Church in Dalkeith on being awarded £57,790 to replace the church hall roof; notes that this comes from a share of the £910,000 that Midlothian Council received from the Scottish Government’s Town Centre Capital Fund; acknowledges the church’s work to build a safe and welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds, and believes that this, and its efforts to help alleviate poverty, are of valuable service to the community.
