Crafting Together Launches Online Shop
The motion
That the Parliament commends former pupils of Kilpatrick School in Clydebank who have launched a new online shop to showcase their latest jewellery collection inspired by the bold colours of Turkey red textile designs traditionally printed in West Dunbartonshire in the 1700s; understands that the group of school friends attend Crafting Together twice a week to develop their jewellery design and manufacture skills in a bid to boost their chances of employment, as well as tackling social isolation; notes that the project sources recycled beads from family-run enterprises in Uganda and Ghana, and wishes all involved success with this and future ventures.
