West Lothian College Shortlisted for Education Buildings Scotland Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates West Lothian College on being shortlisted for the Innovation in Delivering a Sustainable Learning Space Award at the Education Buildings Scotland conference, which will be held on 27 November 2019 at the EICC in Edinburgh; believes that this is the only college finalist in all the award categories; understands that the award nomination is for the innovative forest classroom that has been created by college staff in the woodland surrounding the campus; recognises that this outdoor learning space is enhancing the learning experience of the college’s childhood practice students as they work with an increasing number of children from local nurseries and primary schools, and wishes the college success at the ceremony.
