Western Isles Schools Win Top Sport Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Castlebay School and Shawbost Primary school on receiving a Silver Award from sportscotland’s School Sport Awards 2019; understands that Balivanich School and Laxdale, Sgoil Uibhist a Tuath, Daliburgh and Iochdar primary schools are still in receipt of their Gold Awards; believes that this is an impressive achievement by the schools in the Western Isles, and wishes them continued success in supporting and improving the standards and accessibility of physical education and sport for children and young people.
