Lucerne Scotland Ltd Employees Take Part in Treasure Hunt for Marie Curie
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the staff from the Livingston-based, Lucerne Scotland Ltd, for recently raising over £9,000 for Marie Curie; understands that three teams of staff took part in a treasure hunt that covered the areas of Kirkwall, Stromness and Skara Brae and saw them also carry out tasks such as making paintings and drawings of Skara Brae, with charity money awarded as a prize; acknowledges that this is the third such annual charity event organised by the business, and recognises that these efforts have helped raise just over £30,000 in total.
