Notre Dame High School’s Longest-ever Serving Member of Staff Retires
The motion
That the Parliament wishes Marie MacLaren a happy retirement as she steps down as Notre Dame High School’s longest-ever serving member of staff; recognises that the popular clerical assistant is looking forward to retirement after almost 45 years at the Greenock secondary school; notes that Marie will have seen many changes over the years, especially updates in technology, originally using old manual typewriters; believes that she will be greatly missed by her colleagues and the pupils at the school, and appreciates that they will be wishing her a relaxing retirement.
