Sally Clough is Clean Up Scotland’s Hero of the Month
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Sally Clough from Inverclyde on receiving Clean Up Scotland’s Hero of the Month award in recognition of her efforts to clean up the coastline; notes that Sally has been supporting Keep Scotland Beautiful’s Up-Stream Battle campaign along the Clyde, working alongside volunteers to monitor litter levels in the burns that run down to the river; understands that she also arranged a recent community clean-up event at Craigend Resource Centre, which attracted nearly 50 volunteers; commends Sally for her efforts to remove litter and waste from the local environment, and believes that she is an inspiration to others to live a more eco-friendly life.
