Partnership Between SAMH, Armadale Academy and West Lothian College

That the Parliament commends Laura Glennie, who is the College Connect Coordinator for SAMH, on leading a partnership project to create a wellbeing garden and reflection space in the courtyard of Armadale Academy; notes that Craft, Design and Technology staff and pupils from the school and students and lecture staff from West Lothian College's Construction department helped build a wooden structure for the garden that had been donated by the Glasgow-based artist, Jennifer Argo; understands that the school is part of the SAMH College Connect pilot project and that Laura will help young people move between school and college in a mentally healthy way; applauds Laura on also organising the Armadale Connections Festival, which took place at the school on World Mental Health Awareness Day 2019, and congratulates everyone involved with this partnership working between SAMH, Armadale Academy and West Lothian College.
