Kinglassie Entrepreneur Works to Enhance Child Mental Health
The motion
That the Parliament commends Kelly Laing, an entrepreneur from Kinglassie, for her successful scheme to enhance children’s mental wellbeing; notes that Kinglassie Primary School is taking part in the Connect & Grow mindful activity programme for schools pilot project with Kelly’s company, Be You Mindfulness; understands that the activity programme takes the form of a themed interactive puzzle aimed to take children on a journey of imagination; acknowledges that the puzzle aims to enhance resilience, awareness, compassion, kindness and emotional regulation, and wishes Kelly the best of luck going forward with her venture.
