West Lothian College Students Reach the Finals of the Scottish Chefs Salmon Competition
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the West Lothian College Level 5 Professional Cookery students, Aaron Legget and Mark Sneddon, on reaching the finals of the Scottish Chefs Salmon Competition; notes that the competition is supported by the Scottish Salmon Producers Organisation and aims to engage with all colleges to increase the awareness and versatility of salmon on menus across the food service sector; understands that students were invited to take a picture of their own salmon dish and upload it to Instagram; acknowledges the encouragement and support of the West Lothian College lecturers, Audrey Buckley, Alex Sykakis and Paul Devonshire, and wishes Aaron and Mark further success in the competition.
