Arnold Clark in Dumbarton Invests in Lifesaving Defibrillators
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Arnold Clark on having invested £150,000 in lifesaving defibrillators for its car showrooms, including at Arnold Clark in Dumbarton; celebrates that the company has also invested in training for 400 employees with the British Heart Foundation in both CPR and using a defibrillator unit; recognises the importance of providing first aid equipment to both employees and customers, as the survival rates from out-of-hospital cardiac arrests in the UK remain extremely low, and hopes that this investment and training will lead to more lives being saved and better awareness of what to do in an emergency.
