Balbirnie House Hotel, the Best Destination Wedding Hotel on the Planet
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Markinch-based Balbirnie House Hotel on being named as the World’s Best Destination Wedding Hotel at an international ceremony, the Haute Grandeur Awards, in Malaysia; understands that this is not only the first time that a European hotel has won this title, but also the first such success for any in the western hemisphere; notes that this follows Balbirnie House recently being named Scotland’s Wedding Hotel of the Year for the 13th time, and wishes the hotel's owners, Nicholas and Gaynor Russell, and its staff, all the very best.
