Firefighter James MacFarlane Retires
The motion
That the Parliament wishes James MacFarlane, who is from Inverkip, a happy retirement after finishing his last shift at Greenock Fire Station following 30 years of service; understands that the 55-year old has been a well-respected fixture in the station over the last three decades and will be dearly missed by his colleagues; notes that, on his last shift, James was joined by his three-year old grandson for a tour; thanks James for his lengthy service, and hopes that his retirement is relaxing, filled with family and friends.
