Paws in the Park
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the dog owners who helped raise £10,000 for St Andrew’s Hospice at the fifth annual Paws in the Park event, which was held recently at Strathclyde Country Park in Motherwell; notes that the event saw over 150 dogs take part in a 6k sponsored walk, a doggy fashion show and an agility course; understands that the funds raised will go towards the Hospice’s Capital Appeal to help fully renovate the Lanarkshire facility; acknowledges the outstanding care that it provides to the people of Lanarkshire, and wishes it well in its fundraising efforts and important work.
