Professor Keith Oldroyd Awarded the Mackenzie Medal
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Professor Keith Oldroyd, a consultant at the Golden Jubilee Hospital, on receiving the prestigious Mackenzie Medal from the British Cardiovascular Society in recognition of his outstanding service to cardiology in Great Britain; believes that the Medal, which is named after the leading Scottish cardiologist, Sir James Mackenzie, is one of the most distinguished career achievement awards in cardiology, and thanks Professor Oldroyd, who is also National Research Scotland’s Lead for Cardiovascular Disease, for his dedication to providing high quality, innovative and person-centred cardiology services.
