Motion · S5M-19598 · 29 Oct 2019
National Fertility Week
The motion
That the Parliament notes that 28 October to 3 November 2019 is National Fertility Week; recognises that this is designed to raise awareness and change perceptions of fertility issues, as well as raise funds to help provide much needed support for the one-in-six couples and others in the UK who struggle with infertility; understands that each day of the awareness week is focused on a specific topic related to fertility issues, including mental health, employment rights and fertility education, and acknowledges that the week will conclude with World Fertility Day, which is an opportunity to share stories about fertility issues and empower those affected with knowledge.
