Light the North Public Art Trail Announced
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the Light the North public art trail to take place in the north and north east of Scotland; understands that the trail will feature more than 30 lighthouse sculptures designed by artists from around the country and will be lit up for the first time; notes that the sculptures will be auctioned off for CLAN Cancer Support after the trail closes and that all proceeds will go towards providing emotional and practical support to cancer patients across Grampian, Orkney and Shetland; wishes all involved a successful campaign, and looks forward to viewing the finished products.
