Kirkcaldy Awarded a Silver Gilt at Britain in Bloom
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Growing Kirkcaldy Gardening Group on its impressive performance at Britain in Bloom, at which it won a Silver Gilt medal in the Small City category; commends the efforts of Judith Kerr and all of the other members of the group on their wonderful performance, which saw them fulfil the main goals of the competition, “horticultural achievement, community participation and environmental responsibility”, and being commended by the judges for helping bring environmental improvements to the town; applauds Judith and the group, and wishes them further success.
