Marjory McHattie Presented with Long-service Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Marjory McHattie of Wellesley Parish Church in Methill on her achievement of teaching for 51 years; understands that she has taught Bible stories to two generations of families; further understands that the award was presented by Rt Rev Colin Sinclair, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland; notes that, although Marjory has handed over the mantle, she still remains an energetic member of the community, and thanks her for her dedication and impact on the community.
