Skiing Success for Grace Cameron
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Grace Cameron from Bearsden on her outstanding success, at home and abroad, in both indoor and outdoor ski racing; notes that Grace won gold in the 2019 GBR indoor series and bronze in the outdoor series, which, combined, gave her first place in the series overall; acknowledges that, at the BASS indoor races in Landgraaf, she was third in the slalom and second in the combined event; applauds Grace on winning the Scottish Indoor Championship at Braehead and her third place at the British Indoor Championship in Manchester; understands that Grace, who is a pupil at Bearsden Academy, trains at Bearsden Ski Club, at Snowfactor in Braehead and overseas with Glasgow Ski Racing; acknowledges the skill and dedication needed to achieve this level of achievement, and wishes Grace continued success in her sporting endeavours.
