Kind Irvine Couple Raises Money to Help Families
The motion
That the Parliament commends Irvine’s Stephanie Taylor and Scott Graham for raising more than £9,000 for charity after tragically losing two babies, Rory and Romeo; understands that the devastating loss led Stephanie to fundraise for a new bereavement room in the local neonatal unit; notes that she teamed up with Kilwinning’s Golfathon fundraiser, Rikki Black, to hold a joint charity ball; acknowledges that, on the night, £7,289 was raised, with gift aid taking the total to £9,000; praises Stephanie and Scott for their bravery and kindness, and wishes them both all the best for the future.
