£4,000 Raised for Nicola Hughes Memorial Fund
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Detective Constable Fiona Mackenzie and PC Johan Macleod of the Stornoway police on raising more than £4,000 for the PC Nicola Hughes Memorial Fund; notes that the officers ran the New York City Marathon with a group of other police officers from across the UK, with the purpose of raising money for the fund; recognises that the Memorial Fund assists children who have lost a family member due to violent crime, and wishes Fiona and Johan, and the other officers, the best for the future.
