Douglas Academy Musicians Selected for the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the six students from Douglas Academy in Milngavie who have been selected to play with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain for the coming year; recognises that they will perform with some of the best young musicians from across the UK and will have the opportunity to play in the world-renowned Royal Albert Hall in London as part of the BBC Proms programme for 2020; acknowledges the talent, dedication and hard work necessary to reach the standard that these young people have achieved, and wishes them an enjoyable and successful year as members of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
