Poppyscotland Award for Kirsty MacDonald and Sheona Naismith from Carnoustie
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kirsty MacDonald and Sheona Naismith, who are from Carnoustie, on receiving the Poppyscotland President’s Award in recognition of their dedicated service to supporting Armed Forces' personnel and veterans across Scotland; understands that Kirsty and Sheona were joined at the Parliament by the Provost of Angus, Ronnie Proctor, to celebrate what was described as this "very rare distinction" that recognised their decades of poppy selling, and wishes Kirsty and Sheona continued success.
