Annual Texas Scramble Raises £3,186 in Maggie’s Memory
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Anne Main and the Burntisland Golf House Club on their success in raising £3,186 for Maggie’s Centres; notes that the annual fundraiser is held at Burntisland Golf House Club to support the charity, which was founded by the late Maggie Pearson; understands that the event is now held in Maggie’s memory and supports people with cancer by donating the money raised towards facing the challenges that the disease brings; commends the committee and Anne Main for their effort and success at the event, and further commends the Burntisland Golf House Club for its continued support of the event.
