Bearsden Choir Concert to Support Erskine
The motion
That the Parliament understands that Bearsden Choir will present a special concert on 10 November 2019 in Glasgow City Halls to raise money for Erskine, the charity that supports Scottish armed forces veterans and their families; notes that the choir’s musical director, Andrew Nunn, has selected a special programme to honour those who served in two world wars, which will include Duruflé’s Requiem and Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem; further notes that the choir will be supported by professional musicians from the McOpera Ensemble and that local house-builder, Robertson Homes, has donated £500 to the cause, and wishes all those involved an enjoyable evening and successful fundraising for this worthy cause.
