Mirhan Smith Wins Modern Apprentice of the Year Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates 19-year-old Mirhan Smith from Livingston on winning Modern Apprentice of the Year at the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards 2019; acknowledges that Mirhan was nominated by SD Consultancy, which commented “Mirhan has a determination which sets her apart and is developing a set of skills which will stand her in good stead. She has had a lot to deal with and never fails to smile and be friendly”; understands that Mirhan began her hospitality Modern Apprenticeship at The Larder Café in East Calder’s Calderwood Square and is now training to be a commis chef, and wishes her all the best in the future.
