Befriending Week in Bellshill
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes Befriending Week 2019, which was celebrated from 1 to 7 November, including at the Orbiston Neighbourhood Centre (ONC) in Bellshill with the theme, Health and Wellbeing; notes that, along with Befriending Networks, the ONC uses social media to raise awareness of the positive impact that befriending makes in the community, and congratulates Befriend in Bellshill on providing excellent befriending support for older adults in the Bellshill and Coatbridge areas since 2007.
