Recognition for the NHS Golden Jubilee LGBT+ Lead, Carole Anderson
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the NHS Golden Jubilee Equality Lead and Head of Strategy and Performance, Carole Anderson, on being named in the Yahoo Finance OUTstanding LGBT+ Public Sector Executives List for the third year in a row; understands that Carole was placed 14th on the list of high profile public sector LGBT+ champions from around the world as a result of the work that she has done to support issues at the hospital and in the community; notes that the list was first published in 2017 and seeks to highlight key industry role models who champion awareness of LGBT+ issues and diversity in their organisations; recognises that Carole’s contribution has helped the Golden Jubilee to appear in the Stonewall Equality Index Top 100 Employers List for five consecutive years; notes her role in implementing a director-level coaching package that is aimed at raising awareness among senior leaders of the specific issues faced by LGBT+ people in the workplace, and thanks Carole for her hard work and dedication on behalf of all staff at the Golden Jubilee and the community in Clydebank.
