Blairmore Nursery Receives Third Eco Flag
The motion
That the Parliament commends Blairmore Nursery School for playing its part in protecting the environment after implementing its successful action plan to tackle litter, minimise waste and learn about healthy eating; congratulates the Greenock nursery on receiving its third eco flag for its efforts to be more environmentally-friendly; believes that being awarded a third green flag reflects the commitment of the staff and the children who attend the nursery to protect their local environment and reduce their carbon footprint; acknowledges that the nursery has worked with Inverclyde Council’s environmental services and members of Belville Community Gardens on this project, and wishes everyone at Blairmore Nursery School all the best for the future.
