Kirkcaldy Author Publishes "On This Day" Book
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates David Potter on the publication of his book, Kirkcaldy On This Day; understands that David is a retired town teacher who has written several "On This Day" books about football; further understands that the book is an account of events through the centuries, on each of the 365 days of the year, going as far back as 1244; notes that the book includes significant players in Kirkcaldy’s history, such as Adam Smith and Provost Michael Beveridge; further notes that the information for the book was gathered through the Fife Free Press and Lachlan Macbean’s book, The Kirkcaldy Records; commends David on his book, and wishes him continued success.
