Joe Pirrie, Foundation Apprentice of the Year
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Joe Pirrie of the Ladybird Family Nurture Centre in Glenrothes on being named as the Foundation Apprentice of the Year at the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards 2019; notes that these awards, which are in their 18th year, are organised by Skills Development Scotland to bring together apprentices, employers and training providers to celebrate the contribution that apprenticeships make to society and the economy; believes that the record number of nominations this year are a reflection of the continued growth and diversity of apprenticeships, and wishes Joe and all his fellow apprentices all the best in their endeavours.
