Businesses' Response to Flooding
The motion
That the Parliament recognises Benzies, Volker Infrastructure, Buchan Transport Services and other businesses in the Banffshire and Buchan Coast constituency and surrounding area for their response to recent flooding; understands that businesses impacted by the floods responded in a coordinated manner, being both proactive and solution focused; notes that this combined effort had a positive impact on Aberdeenshire Council’s response; commends the businesses for their efforts in the face of an incredibly challenging situation, and notes that, as a result, disruption was kept to a minimum.
